Rural Financial Advisers secure Top Rated status once again!

Accession, Chartered Financial Planners based in Oundle, Northamptonshire, are delighted to announce that all three of their advisers have been awarded Top Rated Adviser status once again by VouchedFor, the independent review platform for professional services.
Not just this, there has been a double team celebration as Joe Moricca was awarded his Fellowship of the Personal Finance Society towards the end of 2025. Mark Hawksford DipPFS, Head of Operations at Accession, said: “Only a very small number of financial advisers in the UK are Fellows, so we are really proud that all advisers at Accession hold the prestigious titles of both Fellows and Chartered.”
One VouchedFor review, left by a Cambridgeshire farmer, said: “Emma has provided us with advice on investments as a family and guided us through various wealth management issues. She has given help to my wife and daughters as well as the wider family which has been invaluable in planning business succession and in managing our tax liabilities.
“With the forthcoming changes in inheritance tax rules she will be an invaluable source of advice as we change structures and land ownership to try to mitigate the effects of the changes.”*
To qualify as Top Rated, advisers must hold an all-time review score of at least 4.5 out of 5, with 10 or more 4.5 out of 5 scores in the qualifying year (2025).
Accession specialises in providing high-quality, face-to-face wealth management advice for farmers, rural businesses and families across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire and the surrounding counties. A service that has become increasingly in demand with the imminent changes to Inheritance Tax (IHT) legislation, with the Agricultural Property Relief and Business Relief allowances capped at £2.5m per person from 6 April 2026 and pensions classed as part of your estate for IHT purposes from April 2027.
Accession’s Mark Hawksford continued: “Asking our clients for feedback on the advice they are receiving is a priority for us as a business as it helps us ensure we are fulfilling our promise to deliver high-quality and valuable advice. It is also a completely independent shop window so that prospective clients can get a good gauge of what to expect from us.”
“We would like to thank those clients who have left such positive feedback for our services on VouchedFor. At Accession we are committed to building long-term client relationships founded on trust, mutual respect, and high-quality bespoke advice, and it is really rewarding to see that our clients feel that.”
If you are concerned about the impact of recent Budget changes to Agricultural Property Relief, Business Relief and retirement planning, please do contact the team at Accession on 01832 279170 or accession@sjpp.co.uk to make an appointment with one of our three Top Rated financial advisers.
The levels and bases of taxation, and reliefs from taxation, can change at any time. The value of any tax relief is generally dependent on individual circumstances.
